Members particle Posted January 31, 2017 Members Report Posted January 31, 2017 For those of you that are visual learners, like myself, I posted a video demonstrating my process of creating a pancake style holster, from initial pattern creation to final finish. I would like to emphasize that this is a fast-paced demonstration of my process, not a full-length teaching video. If you have questions about anything I'm doing, please feel free to ask here, or in the comment section of the video, or via the contact form on my website. I'm always happy to help however I can. Members Josh Ashman Posted January 31, 2017 Members Report Posted January 31, 2017 That's really nice Eric! Good on you for sharing. Aside from a few tool differences it matches what I do very closely. All the best, Josh Quote
Members SLP Posted January 31, 2017 Members Report Posted January 31, 2017 That's one of the best videos I've ever seen of the process. I love it! Thank you. Quote
Members particle Posted January 31, 2017 Author Members Report Posted January 31, 2017 Thanks y'all. My plan moving forward is to make all new videos freely available on YouTube instead of behind a subscription wall on my site. Took a while to convince my wife, but she's finally on board. Members neilyeag Posted February 1, 2017 Members Report Posted February 1, 2017 Wow incredible process video. Why is it that everything looks easy when you watch someone that knows what they are doing HA. Superb craftsmanship. What bevel knive did you use on the belt loop openings? Quote Instagram
Contributing Member JLSleather Posted February 1, 2017 Contributing Member Report Posted February 1, 2017 Okay, I got confused. Using your pic, if you mark the "stitch line", and then dye / glue to that (shaded area), then what holds the shape of the holster inside the stitch line, between the line and the gun? Or is you glue line different than the stitch line? Quote "Observation is 9/10 of the law." IF what you do is something that ANYBODY can do, then don't be surprised when ANYBODY does.
