How to get his look?

I'm really new to leather crafting and experimenting with some simple coloring techniques, I was wondering if anyone new how to get this look?

Air brush black on edges or look up block dying.

Yep, what they said.  Although it also looks like there may have been a black antique used after.

So the Black Antique gel will give that look look in the center? I like that, and have been thinking about experimenting with some Fiebing's Antique Finish.

That's probably airbrushing too. Imo.

You can get something similar but not just like that using block dyeing
