Members JohanFalk Posted May 22, 2017 Members Report Posted May 22, 2017 Hello Anyone knows anhthing about this machine? Is fully working and the prize that is asked is 200$ Is it only a cobbler machine or can it be used as at ordinary leather sewing machine? Best regards Johan Quote
RockyAussie Posted May 22, 2017 Report Posted May 22, 2017 If it is going alright I'd say grab it quickly. Second hand here they are often over a $1000au. They dont do the best stitching as some machines but for repair work on shoes and sometimes a bag they are often about the only affordable way. With practice you can make its stitches look very acceptable. The foot if you don't already know can go in a full 360 degree direction. Quote
Mark842 Posted May 22, 2017 Report Posted May 22, 2017 I'll second the grab it quick for that price but I guess that only works if you have the budget. that machine is a steal at $200 and even if you can't use it, resell it for a profit to buy what you need. I would check it out real good though. At that price you either have a friend deal, someone not knowing what they are selling, or there is a major issue with it and they are just unloading it. It is a patcher. It won't sew thick stuff but for bags, putting patches on jackets, etc and doing hard to reach repairs and projects they are fantastic machines! Quote

BR Johan With that machine you can expand into sewing patches onto motorcycle vests, jackets and hats, repairing handbags and purses, replacing zippers in small items, installing zippers into boots, and darning tears and loose thread in shoes and boots.
