Members Mattsbagger Posted June 13, 2017 Members Report Posted June 13, 2017 My brother asked me to make a bag for his wife for when there out riding the bike. It's 3oz Fiebings black with red Tiger .8 at about 8sp. I hate gussets cuz getting the length right still an issue for me. So I make long then trim. So sewing the handle on was the last step. Not very easy to access that way. Had to have the wife hold the bag along with the stitching pony.lol Quote
alpha2 Posted June 13, 2017 Report Posted June 13, 2017 (edited) "Had to have the wife hold the bag along with the stitching pony.lol " I didn't know that was a thing! That would have helped with the one I'm doing for my wife right now. As it is, I took out the tensioning bolt to give me more room below the clamp. Jenny went with the red thread, too. I'm toying with the idea of adding a rivet to the strap attachment, too. The glue/stitching is pretty darned strong, though. The antique finish on yours looks great.
