Members Mattsbagger Posted June 18, 2017 Members Report Posted June 18, 2017 I tried out an experiment. I used the card pocket from 1 wallet pattern and a phone sleeve pattern I made up when first started with leather. Put the card pocket on each side changed the stitch to a side load for the phone instead of from the top. Left natural with just some carnuba cream on it. Blue Tiger .8 at about 8spi. Spent about 30 seconds burnishing the edges as didn't want them glass smooth. Also pic is with a phone and the leather is about 4 shades darker in person. Quote
Members K5HEP Posted June 18, 2017 Members Report Posted June 18, 2017 I really like your design - I am going to borrow your idea and make one for my wife. I still carry a flip phone - so it will not work for my use... Quote
alpha2 Posted June 18, 2017 Report Posted June 18, 2017 I like it! I need to make one for my wife. She has my old iPhone 4, and the case it's in is falling apart. This would fit better in her new bag. So you're saying the leather isn't really white? Quote So much leather...so little time.
