Members YinTx Posted October 5, 2017 Members Report Posted October 5, 2017 Neat! Can we see the inside and the backside? YinTx Quote
Members battlemunky Posted October 7, 2017 Members Report Posted October 7, 2017 Yes, please show us the insides and backside. It looks really nice. Quote
Members Kbarrick21 Posted October 14, 2017 Author Members Report Posted October 14, 2017 The back is also basket weave, I made this for my mother and she's not into really " busy" covers Quote
Members toe2short Posted October 16, 2017 Members Report Posted October 16, 2017 Wow, That is very nice and a lot of work. Quote
Members Rolandranch Posted October 16, 2017 Members Report Posted October 16, 2017 Very nice! Did you design it yourself or use a pattern? Quote
Members Kbarrick21 Posted October 21, 2017 Author Members Report Posted October 21, 2017 Thank you. It wasn't to bad on the tooling. Just keeping the basket weave straight was work. The pattern for this was my design. Freehand. Quote
Members Kbarrick21 Posted November 8, 2017 Author Members Report Posted November 8, 2017 Thanks, this was my first cover. Learned a couple of tricks since making this one. My next attempt didn't turn out as well. That's when I saw a tutorial video on backings for tooling. Much better really silts on my third cover. Quote
