plinkercases Report post Posted November 13, 2017 Best bet is to just google image search and see what others are doing... millions of ways to skin that cat...1911 or otherwise...
Dwight Report post Posted November 13, 2017 (edited) Sorry Dave, . . . can't help you because I don't know what he does. Can you share that pattern, . . . better idea of what YOU want??? I make several different types of shoulder holsters, . . . and they tend to have different straps, . . . and it becomes a personal preference thing more than anything else. Send me a PM, . . . we're not too far from each other, . . . maybe create a NEW one........lol May God bless, Dwight Edited November 13, 2017 by Dwight
sideforce Report post Posted November 13, 2017 Made the shoulder harness from Stohlman's book as a replacement for a Bianchi holster. Used Chicago screws for adjustment. Wasn't sure about the small strap routing plate, but it worked swimmingly.
plinkercases Report post Posted November 13, 2017 (edited) I make one with two straps that do not cross... one up high and one lower down across the shoulders and back. No complaint so far and I find it comfortable. Seen here made for an HW45 pneumatic pistol and pellet tin instead of mag pouch. hole in holster is for the tension screw yet to be installed. The holster and pellet pouch can detach and mount in any orientation or go on the belt. Edited November 13, 2017 by plinkercases spelling as usual....
