Members Dwight Posted January 6, 2018 Members Report Posted January 6, 2018 Didn't really have a Shield holster, . . . too big for most of my pockets, . . . so I made this one. Actually, some of you will see the similarity of some of the Sparks holsters, . . . I've always been a fan of theirs, . . . just never could afford them. FWIW, . . . wanting my own holster of a "similar to" a Sparks holsters is one of the factors that got me back to doing leatherworking after a multi decade hiatus. But anyway, . . . just put it together out of some "pieces" laying around the shop, . . . wore it today for a couple hours, . . . think I'm gonna like this puppy. bikermutt07 Posted January 7, 2018 Report Posted January 7, 2018 Fantastic holster, Dwight. Quote I'm not paying 80 bucks for a belt!!! It's a strip of leather. How hard could it be? 4 years and 3 grand later.... I have a belt I can finally live with. Stitching is like gravy, it's only great if you make it every day. From Texas but in Bossier City, Louisiana.
Members seabee Posted January 9, 2018 Members Report Posted January 9, 2018 Very nice, the color is great, I think I'll try to this one. Quote
