What company? I don't see one listed in your question.

I just realized that you used a tag in the subject for the company. I looked them up and they are indeed a real company, located in Indonesia. Are you also in Indonesia? Your profile says nothing about where you live (please update it)

Thanks for your reply. How did you find information about Permata Sewing? I’ve been searching internet to find reviews on this company to determine their validity for trustful business dealings. BTW I’ve updated my profile for my location.

seems they are using pictures from other companies or from Ebay and prices are kind of low.

Sample:

http://permatasewing.com/products.php?product=Singer-108-w-20-cylinder-arm-style-Unison

I just set up a Singer 108w my self so I know the they use pictures from Ebay:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Singer-108-w-20-cylinder-arm-style-Unison-Feed-FOR-binding-runs-great/230958844346?hash=item35c63849ba:g:iu8AAMXQueRRXwIQ

So I would be careful with this Company.

The warning bells in my head are chiming in loud and clear, too. Most of the used sewing machine offerings on the Permata sewing website seem too good to be true, with prices too low, pictures taken anywhere but Indonesia, and descriptive text copied from other websites. My sample check was that Cobra Class 4, the text is copied from the Cobra website, and googling Cobra Class-4 pictures brings up that same machine in front of the same garage door from various websites.

You're better off checking in with a reputable dealer in Texas, like @SolarLeatherMachines of Solar Leather , or one of our trusty vendors in the banner ads. More expensive but also more real.

In their "webmaster's" haste to copy and paste someone else's site, they have also left the original business name all over the place " building supplies"..Their SEO specialist understands Google well though, ( not that it is difficult to fool G ) they have a "six pack" when you search their domain name...

There appear to be traces of the same company name in Malaysia..

I'd tend to agree with Constabulary and Uwe..I would not send them any funds, not even via an LC..

There is someone on here from Indonesia, I can't remember his name ATM, he has large stock of unusual machines that he has inherited, was posting frequently last year , maybe he can shed some light.. he might be close enough to them to be able to say whether they have machines or are just an address and a website ..

To all who have posted a replies. They have on their website a Campbell cyclone sticher listed for $2400.00. I thought this was way to low a price for said machine. Photo of said machine was taken for an old eBay listing. I mistakenly replied to a email from them. Hope they don’t hack my computer for indentity theft. Thanks for all your insites. I will not send any money. I am looking for a good used Campbell or Randall machine.

You can get a good used Campbell Randall in Texas, direct from the company!

That would seem to be the far more sensible and secure option.

talking sewing machine scammers and the like. Few days ago I googled for LW member UWE`s clever flat bed attachments and came across this:

Welcome to a digitalized World  Better watch your (internet) steps...

the .top registry is run out of China

golatest.top looks like it might be a kind of unholy cross between a "knock off" seller, a copyright and patent abuser..and a scammer. No actual contact details or any information about who owns them anywhere on their site.

But they say that they'll do all kinds of research on their customers..including credit checks..I certainly wold not put any credit card details into any part of that site..IFAIK USA sites ( those whose owners are based in the USA )have to have contact details and owners details visible on the site...and a throw away yahoo email addy for all "contacts" :)

NO - totally different machine but our member UWE had designed one for the CB4500 / 441 type machines that one could fit the CB3200.

Check with him - he posted in this thread (see above).

Looks like this table will be too long to properly fit the CB 3200 - the CB4500 cylinder arm is 6” longer than 3200.  Maybe you can cut a few inches off the end and redrill new mounting hole?  Better talk to Uwe first!

Let's keep this topic focused on Permata Sewing and take the UT441 discussion back to the original topic. I just added some info there:

This has morphed beyond my wildest dreams. When I last read this topic it was about an Indonesian sewing machine dealer/reseller/lead getter. Now, it's discussing table top attachments. :-(
