D2G Report post Posted February 19, 2018 Hi people! What is the correct finisher or dye to paint (with out brushes) the background or stamping part to do more darkness that the general leather or flat leather? I remember see one video but I can't find it. For this finish I use Fiebring's Leather Dye. Hope can understood.

garypl Report post Posted February 19, 2018 If you want to just darken the background behind a raised carving, you can use dye or leather paint. I have used both with good results. Apply with a brush or for paint I use a small bottle with needle tip to get up close around the carving. Gary
