FarfarsYxa Report post Posted February 23, 2018 Hi everyone! I just recently discovered this forum and it seems like there are a great deal of nice patterns here! Super excited to try them out! Leatherworking has been my hobby for a few years now and I've created a few patterns of my own that I thought I could share with you all. I originally wanted to sell my finished products on Etsy but after I discovered that the shipping from Sweden is ridiculously expensive for anything larger than a medium sized item, I decided to sell patterns insted. Here is my beer carrier pattern, which I am rather proud of since it took a long time to figure out. I am a teacher so hopefully the instructions and pictures are clear enough. If not, I'll hang my head low, feel a bit ashamed and then gladly take any constructive criticism. Also, if you have any tips of items you would like to see a pattern of, let me know! Cheers
JerseyFirefighter Report post Posted February 23, 2018 Very nice. I would attempt to add a small slip pocket or pouch for a church key.

I'll see what I can come up with! That would certainly add an extra touch to the carrier.
Sheilajeanne Report post Posted February 23, 2018 Those twist-off tops have made church keys almost obsolete, but hey, you never know. Sometimes the bottle caps get bashed together and bent, and you need something other than your hand to get them off!

But we don't need church keys anyway as we all just use our teeth to open the beer bottles...(Sorry, it's Friday and I just used a church key..I mean my teeth...) Sometimes the bottle caps get bashed together and bent, and you need something other than your hand to get them off! The craft beer craze has come with some throwbacks. They are all non twist bottle caps. Then again the new trend in craft beer is quickly moving towards canned pints in 4 packs instead of 12 oz 6 pack bottles or cans. As silly as it sounds that is the market you should target as they will pay a fair amount for a swanky way to show off their beer as they stroll in.
