Hello all, as the title says I am a newbe to leather craft. I started because of the desire to make a couple of knife sheaths and now I seen to be hooked! I have purchased more sup[plies and I am going to try my hand at leather carving.  I want to get into  making wallets, clutch bags and belts. Here are my first two attempts at sheath making. Critique if you want, I have a thick skin ( 7-9 oz.) :)

I'm not sure of your age, but way better than my 1st project when I was 12years old ... and several projects since! Well done.

Kindest regards

Brian

Oh well, you do very neat work, no matter about your age.

Is the sheath knife of your own making?

Kindest regards

Brian

That sheath looks fantastic.

I'm not paying 80 bucks for a belt!!! It's a strip of leather. How hard could it be? 4 years and 3 grand later.... I have a belt I can finally live with.

Stitching is like gravy, it's only great if you make it every day.

From Texas but in Bossier City, Louisiana.
