From what I've seen (don't do it myself) competition shooters here in Oz usually appear to wear a vest with big pockets to hold their shells. Cowboy shooting is quite different, it is a requirement to use a cartridge belt (or bandoleer) as the ability to reload fast is the order of the day. It is also in keeping with how guns were used in The Old West (or at least the perception). Quote
Members chrisash Posted August 9, 2018 Members Report Posted August 9, 2018 OK I understand, it was the talk of Skeet that threw me, we have something called practical or something close in the UK a very small group who rapidly shoot as many targets as quick as possible, i guess something like a SAS hostage job using up to 9 shot semi auto's, afraid not my cup of tea and don't have the strength to hold a 9 shot for any length of time Quote
