Members Old Coach Saddlery Posted April 23, 2018 Members Report Posted April 23, 2018 I been in need of a stand for my shop. One that would hold saddles that I am working on or waiting to be worked on. I didn't want some cheesy stand. I searched the wide web for just the right stand. I finally decided it didn't exist. What to do? Make it myself. So I found a cheap treadle and repurposed it. I scrubbed the base with a wire brush and painted it. Then went to forming the top. This is what I came up with. Thought I was done and decided it needed a drawer. Quote

bikermutt07 Posted April 25, 2018 Report Posted April 25, 2018 (edited) That is a real beauty. That looks like a very marketable item. Edited April 25, 2018 by bikermutt07 Quote I'm not paying 80 bucks for a belt!!! It's a strip of leather. How hard could it be? 4 years and 3 grand later.... I have a belt I can finally live with. Stitching is like gravy, it's only great if you make it every day. From Texas but in Bossier City, Louisiana.
