These are my bread and butter Etsy items. They let me buy leather and tools so I can make other things. I have sold over a hundred of these and I don't really know why. Lol I have never seen anyone that uses a pocket protector. But they allow me to keep doing this hobby so I will keep making them.

My Mom worked for a USDA research lab for years.  She actually had to buy them now and again after companies stopped giving them away.  The people in the labs actually needed them.  They had to carry marking pens, thermometers, small rulers, etc.  Our machinists & assemblers that work on hydraulic assembling carry rulers and other parts also.

It could be for the novelty of it, a nerd symbol.  Or they use them for other things - not to keep them in their pockets.

Clean and simple is hard to beat @Mattsbagger. Having a product that sells a good amount is a sweet bonus.

Those are very clean looking.

I'm not paying 80 bucks for a belt!!! It's a strip of leather. How hard could it be? 4 years and 3 grand later.... I have a belt I can finally live with.

Stitching is like gravy, it's only great if you make it every day.

From Texas but in Bossier City, Louisiana.
