Pretty sure this has been said somewhere and if it's not allowed then a mod can delete it.

Just recieved my new machine Friday. So far it's doing everything it should. I'm completely new to the sewing machine world but Bob at http://www.tolindsewmach.com/ helped me tremendously. I'm not endorsed by anyone here nor do I wanna be. Just appreciate old fashioned customer service.

My only problem with the machine is the light that came with it doesn't work. I let Bob know and he said he would have one on the way. It's surprising this day and time that you can find customer service like this.

Thanks Bob!

You might not wanna see those at the moment... still just tinkering with it on scraps. But rest assured it will be used. Hand stitching is for the birds!

I have had my 3200 since 2014 and besides a bad bearing in the flywheel, replaced by Bob immediately, I haven't had a moments down time and not one dropped stitch. Its a wonderful machine, cost effective and does everything I need. Make sue you watch a few of the "how to lubricate your 441clone" videos as it is easy to miss some critical areas.

I did modify the electronics to give more range on the lowest stitching speeds.

Wasn't that bearing in the speed reducer?

Yes I believe it also functions as a flywheel:

fly·wheel
ˈflīˌ(h)wēl/
noun

  1. a heavy revolving wheel in a machine that is used to increase the machine's momentum and thereby provide greater stability or a reserve of available power during interruptions in the delivery of power to the machine.

Hey Bob,Ok thx for the definition, your right it does have quite a bit of mass too! But to me the "flywheel" is aka the handwheel, it is quite a bit heavier & didn't want anyone to misinterpret it which one you meant!

Bob, didn't mean to appear snooty, but you are quite right. Actually I should have stated the speed reducer or the hand wheel to be accurate. Regardless, a great machine that has paid for itself many times over!

Looking for help.. which i found this topic trying to find the help i need. Not sure it’s the same thing though. I have a bad bearing in the  part that holds the rod for the flywheel between the motor and the sewing machine. Number 6205rs. I have new bearings but can anyone help me figure out how to remove them? There are two of them one on each end of the cylinder.

The flywheel usually refers to the huge hand wheel on the right end of the machine. Is this what you are asking about, or is it the speed reducer under the table that has a bad bearing?
