Looks comfortable and solid.

Super comfortable thinking of making a taller version for a tooling and sewing chair.

Very nice! I would like to make a few camp chairs, would be a nice gift for my sons. Where did you get plans for your chair?

Here is where I got the pattern data:text/html;base64,PG1ldGEgZGF0YS1mYnByZWZldGNodGFyZ2V0IC8+

There’s a couple others out there without the pockets to hold the seat, the seat is held on by screws in the end of the dowels. Also Tandy sells a kit and a couple other places sell the tri-bolt although the nice ones are expensive.

Fire88 - Very nice work! I tried to follow the link that you posted, but unfortunately it's not working. Could you repost please? I'd like to make one of these as a guitar playing seat/stool and this design would work perfectly and be portable as well. -Thanks!

For those looking for a pattern, this is mine. PDF down load attached. Print on 8.5x11 paper with no scaling on the print size.

I found 24" legs with hinge point 10.5" from the top works well.

I use #9 copper rivets for my assemblies.

Where do you source your legs?  I have a seat ready but I'm having the hardest time actually finding legs for the thing...been thinking about cutting down some tool handles.
