I just wanted to say hi to everyone who contributes to this great site. Having worked in fabrics for years now I have recently begun to try working with leather, so its a bit of a steep learning curve.

This site has been a fantastic source of advice and guidance and also inspiration, there are so many talented people here.

I hope that i will be able to make a useful contribution to the site in the future, but in the meantime a big thanks to Johanna and all the guys who helped to get the site back online so quickly.

Adam,

Glad you found this forum - be warned, it gets addictive - couldn't find ahy really useful Brit ones.

You're just over the Pennines from me - I'm in Carlisle.

Enjoy visiting here - there's loads of coffee and doughnuts, I'm told, but we could always start a tea fund.

Thanks for the welcome guys, and gary, its great to now there are other UK people on here, so guess we are going to have to start the tea fund after all.

And scones in lieu of doughnuts in the afternoon with the cream tea.

Better make lots of scones. The rumours about the doughnuts around here explain why they are plain and stale... Something about Clay's dog licking the icing off. I'll join you with the tea as well. I'd drink coffee if it just didn't taste so much like... well, coffee.

Welcome to the forum.
