Hey, we all have to start somewhere!  The important thing, is to start.

I look back on my early stuff, and some of my later stuff, and shudder. Your ain't so bad!

Looks pretty good for your first effort - I like the original version before you dyed it better!  Keep on practicing!

we all start out rough! no one in their field is a master, and you will always be your worst critic. You have already taken the most important step and that is to try. keep working on it, the more you practice, the better you will become.

Remember to look through the forum posts, and get some ideas on how you can improve your work, and continue doing what you love...if you love doing leather work that is.

It's all about practice. I must have a couple dozen coasters and wrist bands.  just keep at it. It will get better
