Pattern Needed

Hello

I am in need of a pattern for a Colt 1911, leather weight 7/8 oz, inside waist band style, barrel length is 4.25 I don't have the gun. The holster is a b-day gift for my uncle his b-day is in 2 weeks.

The post immediately below yours that says "Holster Patterns" would be a good place to look. jlsleather.com has posted several different patterns that available on his web page. Modifying a pattern for IWB use is fairly easy. If your uncle is right handed use a right hand pattern and put whatever method of attachment ( belt loops or clip) on the outside face.

without the gun or a mold gun a pattern isn't going to do you much good...for the colt 1911 I'd buy a cheap airsoft pistol rather than buying the blue gun, if you plan on making more of these, you could consider the blue gun, but for a one n done holster, $15 is not too bad...
