I used the floral pattern from a Stohlman holster pattern for this. I like them actually. I guess some call that style Tandy Floral..?

Thanks all. Still one of my favourites.

I always liked that one.  I still get asked to make it on occasion.

Looks real good, but that backgrounding must have taken a long time to stamp!

Surprisingly not so long when you get in the groove...more an issue with my old hands cramping.. I will be trying some of those shaft fattening deals there was a thread about (like rubber pen holding aids etc.) .

That said I now try to leave less back-ground.... and have started to like the pebblers as back grounds... not traditional but look cool and les strikes needed.

I’m with you on the pebble backgrounder.  I save the seeder backgrounder for small areas.

I was just thinking about how may hands would be protesting with all the backgrounding. Gotta take it in small bites! Looks good :)

Ya I need to get the tools fattened some how... more research needed.

Outstanding!  You really did some great caving and tooling.  I wish my spacing between tool strikes was as even and consistent as yours.  The color is very nice.  Good one!

Handmade doesn't have flaws it's just built-in character.

Thanks Regis and I think the secret is to time the maul with the tremors!!

I have an order for this style for a S&W model 25 6"bbl but haven't had the time to get to it this summer....soon I hope.
