Members myjtp Posted October 16, 2018 Author Members Report Posted October 16, 2018 I went to tractor supply co. And found a 6” OD .5” bore and fits perfectly on the Consew but the belt seems a bit too thin do I need a wider belt? And is this set on the machine properly or do I need to add any washers to take up the gap a bit? Quote

CowboyBob Posted October 16, 2018 Report Posted October 16, 2018 It's a step in the right direction BUT the pulley only has on set screw & if you start sewing anything very thick in time it won't hold, that's why they put 2-screws in the original pulley that line up with the grooves in the shaft. 6 minutes ago, myjtp said: whoops how about these? https://www.sailrite.com/Schmetz-Needles-135x16-DI-20-Pack-10 Let me know and I will just order them from you since you have been so helpful! thanks! Do you have a good 6" pulley with the two set screws in the same spot as stock pulley? Quote
CowboyBob Posted October 16, 2018 Report Posted October 16, 2018 No,I priced one from Pfaff once & it was $150.00 (still cheaper than a reducer & servo) BUT you need a servo anyways. Quote Bob Kovar Toledo Industrial Sewing Machine Sales Ltd. 3631 Marine Rd Toledo,Ohio 43609 1-866-362-7397
