bermudahwin Report post Posted November 1, 2018 I am looking for clean simple vector graphics, such as those that were free all over the web about 15 years back, to browse for design inspiration. Has anyone seen anything recently, pretty much any subject, but not needing payment, credits, sign up, inside leg measurement etc. My old PC had thousands from Corel Draw, Serif etc, but nothing now. Thanks Harry

cradom Report post Posted November 1, 2018 (edited) Glad I could help Sometimes doing a Google Image search for line art or clip art can get some good stuff too. Edited November 1, 2018 by cradom

Sheilajeanne Report post Posted November 1, 2018 Oh dear...and here I've been planning to scan hundreds of old family pictures onto my computer, and throw out the originals, to free up storage space! It would also make the pictures more readily available as they aren't in albums!
bermudahwin Report post Posted November 1, 2018 That will work fine... I have .cmx and .cdr Corel format and Serif format on CD. I have scanned thousands of photos into JPG or PNG then put them into folders. Good luck, H
LatigoAmigo Report post Posted November 2, 2018 22 hours ago, Sheilajeanne said: I've been planning to scan hundreds of old family pictures onto my computer When you scan images, you can save them in various file formats. The file extension ".jpeg" (or .jpg), the file format for Joint Photographic Experts Group, has been around a long time (in computer years) and should be around for many more. Some of the file extensions mentioned above are designed for very specific applications and find themselves outdated.
cradom Report post Posted November 2, 2018 I don't use the programs on those clip art CDs. Sometimes you can get them directly by digging into the folders or turning on 'show hidden files' in explorer and find them that way. No guarantee that'll work but sometimes it does. I've found them in .tga and .jpg formats, among others. There are programs that will convert from one format to another.
