Members Russ498 Posted December 30, 2018 Members Report Posted December 30, 2018 Does anyone know if there is a source for pink leather dye or white leather die that I can mix with currently available red dyes to make pink? Thanks all Quote
Members TomG Posted December 30, 2018 Members Report Posted December 30, 2018 You can order pink from Angelus. You can also make pink by diluting red about 10:1 with denatured alcohol. 90% Isopropyl will work just as well. Play with the ratios until you get the shade thatyo like Quote
Members DJole Posted December 30, 2018 Members Report Posted December 30, 2018 Angelus makes a Lt. Rose colored dye which I have used. It's quite pink! (See their online color chart: https://angelusdirect.com/pages/color-chart) You could also dilute it with their Neutral (colorless) dye if you desire. Quote
Members Russ498 Posted December 30, 2018 Author Members Report Posted December 30, 2018 I see Angelus leather paint, but I'm looking for a dye. Quote
Members YinTx Posted January 4, 2019 Members Report Posted January 4, 2019 I think someone diluted Fiebeng's Oxblood and got a bright pink out of it... YinTx Quote
Members VYO Posted January 4, 2019 Members Report Posted January 4, 2019 Using Angelus Light Rose I got the colors in the attached photos. I diluted them with Angelus Neutral Leather Dye: https://angelusdirect.com/products/neutral-leather-dye Light Rose Leather Dye: https://angelusdirect.com/collections/angelus-dye-1/products/light-rose-leather-dye Light Rose is a hotter pink so used full strength gives a super brilliant hot pink color.
