Members bigdogpaw Posted January 21, 2019 Members Report Posted January 21, 2019 I am trying to find a chisel with a round hole. Currently, I am using a 4mm set(2 prong, 4 prong, etc) of chisels that are a diamond shape. I am trying to find a set that makes round holes. With the exception of a cheap cheap set on Amazon I came across, I do not know where to go. I did see a 4 in 1 on the Tandy website but unsure if it is equivalent to the size I am using. Does anyone know where I can go to purchase a set to make the round holes? Thanks Quote

Members bigdogpaw Posted January 22, 2019 Author Members Report Posted January 22, 2019 Thanks. Probably end up getting these, as I am coming up empty handed. I may grab the ones off amazon though in the meantime until these get here. Thanks Quote
Members YinTx Posted January 22, 2019 Members Report Posted January 22, 2019 I went looking for a set as well a few months ago. Did not see a cheap set that didn't cut a circle out of the leather. So, I went for using a stitch marker (overstitch wheel) and a round awl as an alternative method. Worked out ok. YinTx Quote

YinTx This is the same as I have been doing(the awl). Works out 90% of the time, but i'll still get a few that come out not so straight and seems to take some time. Going to give them 12 dollar ones a try in the meantime. Quote

If your using them with no issues, hopefully they will be good. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B079DLFQWF/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A37TO91FR7L9R8&psc=1 Quote
