Introduction

Just wanted to make a quick introduction. My name is Fred, I live in North Central Kansas and have been tooling leather for about 6 years now.

After trying my hand at just about all of the different leather projects available, short of saddles, I've decided that tooling notebooks, belts, belt buckles and miscellaneous flatwork is my forte.

I also have an interest in braiding (knots), but have not gotten to the point where I can do it without a book or keep my tounge in my mouth. :-)

Less than 2 years to retirement and I'm looking hard at Wyoming or the South Dakota Blackhills to hang my hat. But that's another story.
