looks good, but...why name it the hand of god? just curious on that. but also, having the bottom sealed, no opening is a little worrisome.

I was wondering that as well but didn't want to look daft asking..... not that you're daft, just smart to actually ask

It's the rig Russell Crowe used in 3:10 to Yuma.  He had a strange crucifix on than handle of his pistol, and the rig was dubbed "the hand of God."

Great holster, a few hours worth of work I am guessing.

Will Ghormley's pattern look really good. Were they easy to follow?

His patterns are top notch IMO. Very detailed, enough patterns included to do it for most any gun that fits the genre. My first CAS rig was set from the Johnny Ringo pattern pack.

Have made a start on a Whil Ghormley's HOG pattern. Will no doubt end up cutting up a few before I make one without to many errors. here's a pic of it wrapped around my Ruger Bisley

One of my all time favorite holster. A couple years ago, I made a similar copy for my 1911, now Will has a pattern pack that includes a 1911 pattern. I really love how yours turned out, are you making the gun belt as well ?
