bikermutt07 Posted March 24, 2019 Report Posted March 24, 2019 Good job. Quote I'm not paying 80 bucks for a belt!!! It's a strip of leather. How hard could it be? 4 years and 3 grand later.... I have a belt I can finally live with. Stitching is like gravy, it's only great if you make it every day. From Texas but in Bossier City, Louisiana.

Members Handstitched Posted March 30, 2019 Members Report Posted March 30, 2019 (edited) G'day, the basket weave isn't always easy to do, I've made my fair share of 'mistooks'..... er...mistakes with B/W , but that looks great, even the case without any staining looks great . I have never used copper rivets on any of my leather projects , mostly D/C rivets or stitching , but perhaps I should give them a try. It does look nice HS Edited March 30, 2019 by Handstitched Quote ' I have a very gweat friend in Wome called Biggus Dickus, He has a wife you know, do you know whats she's called? Members dfrensdorff Posted March 30, 2019 Author Members Report Posted March 30, 2019 Thanks Handstitched ..... in most cases regular rivets work just fine .... I use copper rivets when I want to make 100% sure it won’t come apart. Quote
Members Outfitr Posted March 31, 2019 Members Report Posted March 31, 2019 Thanks for the pics. Quote
Members Double Daddy Posted April 1, 2019 Members Report Posted April 1, 2019 Very nice craftsmanship, sir! The copper rivets are indeed strong...and classy! Many thanks for sharing the "internals" to your handiwork! Quote Have a great day! Chris
