Members BANDITWJ Posted March 27, 2019 Members Report Posted March 27, 2019 (edited) I got this saddle in for repair yesterday and it has these screw-on stirrup leather hangers I've never seen before. One of them broke. The saddle, I would guess, is around 50+ years old and is built on a fiberglass tree. I'm just wondering if anyone knows if these were, or are, commercially available somewhere? Or, if someone has a pair laying around they would part with before I screw with making a new pair. Thanks, Wayne Edited March 27, 2019 by BANDITWJ Spelling Quote
Members Goldshot Ron Posted March 29, 2019 Members Report Posted March 29, 2019 Try Herb Bork in Pendleton, Or. I haven't seen them in their catalog, but you may get lucky. Quote
Members Squilchuck Posted March 30, 2019 Members Report Posted March 30, 2019 I think I saw an attachment like that on saddles sold/made by Len Brown. He sells a line of saddle pads and now saddles and tack. Look him up on line adding Protector pad to search. Might also be called Len Brown Innovations. He responds well to inquiries. He has a goofy website but you'll find the saddle section. I use his saddle pad on my horse - it does work. --John Quote
