Hi,

just bought this Pfaff and I am trying to get it running smooth. Found a manual on this forum which is already a great start.

Any input on what the plate says about this machine?

thanks

I'm not a Pfaff guy so I'm not sure how much of this applies to the old casting machines-  my charts show:

H3 = Top feed lift 5.5mm, 11mm foot lift

734/ = Gathering mechanism (top drive)

921/ = optical top feed variation indicator

6/01 = standard parts for plain sewing ops

B = For medium materials

S = Fabric

Machines: Juki LU-563, Consew 206-RB5, Singer 20U33, Pfaff 481, Mitsubishi CU-865-22, Consew 29B, Rebadged Juki LU-562,  Mitsubishi LS2-180,  Seiko SK-6, Juki LG-158-1

I think that setup with the adjustable top feed and that big plate was used for sewing sleeves onto jackets etc...

I see it has the second lever (next to the stitch length adjuster), haven't seen too many with that fitted.

Machines wot I have - Singer 51W59; Singer 331K4; Seiko STH-8BLD; Pfaff 335; CB4500.

Chinese shoe patcher; Singer 201K (old hand crank)
