What thickness are you using and is that goatskin? it is. it's not goatskin but cowhide leather in 2mm ( 0,08 in ) the leather is wet-molded and hand- stitch when dryed. thanks.

Is it removable to place on a new tape measure later? yes ,but not by the owner,because,it must remove the seams,and after changing the tape,stitch again.With my new process.( unless the owner knows how to do it.) With the old process it was possible but, i stopped it because the two parts of leather with time shrinks,and estetically it's not good. in both cases the two parts of the case are separable.the screws are accessible I hope to be understandable enough...
