JLSleather Report post Posted July 26, 2019 Okay, another 'supplier' rant. Try not to call me Dick if you can help it (hey, ya GOTTA let it out, fine.) Trying to locate my buckstitch stuff... which doesn't get used much these days. Maybe easier just buy new stuff? NOPE. Turns out there are a LOT of suppliers who will sell you book on how to buckstitch, but not the tools or the lace. ?!@! And some that have chisels, but not the right size for the lace they sell. ?!@#!?! And some .. well... never mind. Anybody know of a place selling 5/32" or 3/16" QUALITY leather lace and the chisel to apply it? Or, a wide enough awl instead of the chisel ...
