CFM Frodo Posted October 7, 2019 Author CFM Report Posted October 7, 2019 (edited) I pondered this idea for a few days, then came up with an idea I took a piece of copper pipe and beat it flat, then annealed it Then I beat it into the shape i wanted then i drilled a couple of holes, wrapped it in leather added a strap to hold the watch...I have to stop here. I need a longer snap here is the finished watch band less the longer snap Edited October 7, 2019 by Frodo Quote Singer 66, Chi Chi Patcher, Rex 26-188, singer 29k62 , 2-needles D.C.F.M
wizard of tragacanth Posted October 7, 2019 Report Posted October 7, 2019 (edited) So, you need a snap with a longer post that will pass through thicker stock? What are you using now? Are they Line 24 snaps? Tandy Line 24 snaps have a 5/16" post. Is that enough? https://www.tandyleather.com/en/search/?sSearch=line 24 snaps nick Edited October 7, 2019 by wizard of tragacanth Quote Wisdom from an old Missouri farmer, my Grandpa: If it's not sharp, it's not a knife.
