Hello

Lately I have to sew by hand because my machine have a rare problem I haven't find solution yet. When the he hook shuttle moves forward hits the point indicated in the photograph attached and the machine gets stuck. It happens sice I sewed a too high piece of leather and force it a bit in order to finish it. I fear needing professional help because here in Spain there are very few people with this type of machines.

I'm certainly NOT the guy to ask for sewing machine help, but it may help to let people know WHAT is "hitting".  Is the shuttle hitting the NEEDLE, or is it hitting something ELSE?  Or is it the THREAD "getting stuck"?

Strange, seems like those two parts should be moving TOGETHER.  Maybe upload a video the same view as your pic.  I'm sure if I don't catch the issue somebody else would.

Have you pulled the entire assembly out, race and all. You might have some thread or an accumulation of leather dust caught up behind it. Also, the shuttle moves with the piece yo have the arrow pointing at. The shuttle should have some play to jiggle around a little but it should not be enough to touch. When you grab the shuttle with your hand can you move to touch where the arrow is? How old is your machine?

Maybe try and take out the shuttle and see if there is anything in the race to obstruct then put a little oil there in the race and see if it is better? I think where your arrow is that is normal that it hits there depending on which way it is rocking, pushing the hook back will hit where the hook is like in your picture, then pushing the hook forward will hit where you have your arrow. you might have some thread stuck in the race??

Exactly what I was thinking.  OR.. since it doesn't happen when he cranks it without sewing... it may be that the top thread isn't taking the correct path to form the loop and is getting caught in there which - ODDLY, can happen if those two screws are too tight OR too loose.
