Members Tmccue3 Posted December 7, 2019 Members Report Posted December 7, 2019 This is my first attempt at a holster ever. It's based off the Alaskan chest rig. I just have to make the strapping. Its for a taurus "4 .357. Quote
Members Dwight Posted December 7, 2019 Members Report Posted December 7, 2019 Pretty good start, . . . Scorpio is upside down though, . . . lol.......... Seriously, . . . go for it, . . . show pics of the finished product. I make one or two of these from time to time. May God bless, Dwight Quote If you can breathe, . . . thank God. Members Tmccue3 Posted December 7, 2019 Author Members Report Posted December 7, 2019 I didn't know about the Scorpion, the only reason I put it facing that way, I figured that's the danger zone hahaha. Thanks Quote
CFM chuck123wapati Posted December 7, 2019 CFM Report Posted December 7, 2019 Looks great ! I would have run the stitching up around the curves of the frame and trigger guard a bit closer, it may loosen up there a bit. Members Tmccue3 Posted December 7, 2019 Author Members Report Posted December 7, 2019 I see what you mean. Thank you. Quote
Members dikman Posted December 7, 2019 Members Report Posted December 7, 2019 Put another rivet in there, you already have one so it won't look out of place. A good start for a first holster, after a while you'll think "hmm, I can do better so I'll make another" and before you know it you're hooked! Members Dwight Posted December 9, 2019 Members Report Posted December 9, 2019 Here is the "pattern" I use, . . . I use the moniker of "Trucker" when I'm working on an order with someone. That is suede for the lining. May God bless, Dwight Quote If you can breathe, . . . thank God. If you can read, . . . thank a teacher.
