Members blinddog Posted August 27, 2007 Members Report Posted August 27, 2007 Was he talking Feibing's dyes, or Tandy? All of the LF/Tandy dyes and finishes are manufactured and packaged by Feibing's now. Quote Jeff Leida "Will Race for Food"
outcast Posted October 12, 2007 Report Posted October 12, 2007 True about Tandys spirit dyes being made by Feibings. Same stuff poured into tandy bottles. Buy the Tandy packaged spirit dye cheaper than the Feibings packaged spirit dye. Same spirit dye. outcast Quote Steve I am not of this world....set apart....an outcast. http://s233.photobucket.com/albums/ee215/outcastleatherworx/

Ambassador abn Posted October 12, 2007 Ambassador Report Posted October 12, 2007 Guys, just order a bottle and give it a try. I don't think it's necessarily fair to express an opinion on a product you've never tried. Eco-Flo products are not a scam. They are water-based and they are environmentally friendly. They may not be for everyone, but I've tried them and I like 'em. Quote
Members hiloboy Posted October 13, 2007 Members Report Posted October 13, 2007 well the thing that sold me on Eco-Flo was that it can be shipped by air because its water based..a lot of the other dyes and finishes can only ship ground or trucking..and for me that means about 1 1/2 mouths to get here.. Members Rayban Posted October 23, 2007 Members Report Posted October 23, 2007 I always have liked the PRO DYE line that Tandy used to sell. I have just finished off a couple projects using that water-based ECO-FLO and I was not happy at all with the results. I apllied it the same as I always have and it left some splotchy spots that looks like the leather had been stained...I always got a good even coverage with the PRO-DYE stuff. So can anyone tell me where I can still get this PRO-DYE stuff or a good equivalent? Thanks. P.S. I liked the smell of it too. a lot more than this watered-down stuff. Quote Raybanwww.rgleather.net
