BulletAK Report post Posted December 19, 2019 Hi everyone, Has anyone tried CerMark or TherMark on leather with laser engraving? How does it go? Or any similar masking that we can use with laser engraving? I am looking for similar masking but not sure if it will go well on leather. Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks. blue duck Report post Posted December 26, 2019 I have absolutely no idea. However, I might suggest posting under the laser engraver part of this forum. Folks that do have the answer may be over there more than here.
RockyAussie Report post Posted December 26, 2019 For cutting the masking tape using a diode laser I have used the blue 3M painters tape. Here's a link showing it in use -
Lfrog Report post Posted January 12, 2020 Thermark or cermark is not designed for use on leather, its a compound for use on metals for co2 machines. I would imagine that a diode laser machine would not have enough power to be effective either. We specialise in laser engraving, tell me what machine you have and what you are trying to achieve please. Added a sample image of what we can produce with a CO2 laser engravera
