Members Zonker1972 Posted December 27, 2019 Members Report Posted December 27, 2019 I recently made a purchase on E-bay for the items in the picture. I am not sure what the small tools on the bottom row of the picture are used for. the two on the ends look they are a male and female snap or rivet set but i am unsure about that and the other small tools. any help is greatly appreciated. zonker Quote
Rockoboy Posted December 28, 2019 Report Posted December 28, 2019 From the left side, it appears to me you have: - a rivet or snap setter - pointed stylus small - pointed stylus large - snap setter - snap setter - unknown (Maybe a letter stamp?) - lacing chisel - snap or eyelet setter Disclaimer: Any or all could be wrong because I cannot see a lot of detail. Members Bert51 Posted December 28, 2019 Members Report Posted December 28, 2019 Rockoboy, I think your right, I have a couple similar, but they to are missing the handle used to hold then to be struck, so I have never used them. I got them from a seller in the States with some counter sunk rivets. Bert. Quote
Members Zonker1972 Posted December 28, 2019 Author Members Report Posted December 28, 2019 Thanks a lot rockoboy. I also do not have the handle, so I doubt I'll b using them in the near future. Zonker Quote

Done on a lathe if you have one available, or rod held in a drill vice if you don't. If there's more than one size, make a few. Job done. Quote
Members Zonker1972 Posted December 28, 2019 Author Members Report Posted December 28, 2019 good idea rockoboy. thx. Quote
Members Bert51 Posted December 28, 2019 Members Report Posted December 28, 2019 I was playing with a piece of rod about 6 inches long and I welded a nut that fitted over the rod, but it was to heavy. Lost interest after that as I have not needed to use them. Bert. Quote
Members buzzardbait Posted December 31, 2019 Members Report Posted December 31, 2019 those are dies for a Maun leather punch. It is like a rotary punch with interchangeable dies for multiple purposes. Quote
