shedhunter Report post Posted January 8, 2020 I am looking for the vintage Craftool Z952 of a cowboy on a bucking horse. Just wondering if anyone has it for sale in good condition.
Handstitched Report post Posted January 9, 2020 I have had a look around, but no luck. ' Vintage tools' did have one, but it was sold. https://www.vintagetools.net/craftool-co-usa-no-z952-bucking-horse-and-rider-874n No harm in contacting them though, they may have contacts. I do have one, but its not for sale, sorry. Good luck in your search, HS
Rhale Report post Posted January 9, 2020 What would you give for one in excellent condition? Where are you located? Thanks Rodney

Sheilajeanne Report post Posted January 14, 2020 I have one, and could probably be persuaded to part with it. Will have a look at it to see what shape it's in and let you know. I got it with a batch of used tools last year, and have never used it.
Sheilajeanne Report post Posted January 14, 2020 Okay, out of 6 tries with the stamp, this was the best I could manage. I think the problem is it's a Craftool USA stamp, and not very high quality. The leather was 3-4 oz. veg tan. If you still want to buy it, let me know. I hit the stamp 3 x with my mallet to get this impression.

I've looked everywhere for one and am willing to pay!

Sheilajeanne Report post Posted June 20 (edited) Yes, pretty sure I still have it. Will double check in a bit when I go downstairs to my craftroom. Like I said, it does not make a good impression, but if you are skilled with a dremel grinder, you may be able to deepen the pattern, and make it into a decent tool. GraceMedicineCreekLeather Report post Posted June 22 I'm afraid I'm not very skilled with a dremel and am looking for one in decent useable condition. Thank you for getting back to me though, I really appreciate it!
