dikman Report post Posted January 23, 2020 At least as regards the knee lifter. I'm surprised you could get any lift at all, the mechanics and leverage were all wrong. I agree with kgg about just using 1 strand of the wire (or you could replace it with a chain). The hole it goes through in the table looks like it's already been elongated a bit? oldtimer Report post Posted March 5, 2022 The knee lift is not supposed to be connected to the wire ! Om the back side of the machine there is a rod with a spring that is to be connected to the knee lift lever.. The wite is used when you operate the presser foot lift with a pedal.
