Basically an experiment to see if a no hardware bag is feasible. I used 6-7 oz veg tan, hand stitched and hand dyed ( with Fiebing's pro oil ). The pattern available at https://leatherhubpatterns.com and you can see its making here

great lookin bag friend!

Worked in a prison for 30 years if I aint shiny every time I comment its no big deal, I just don't wave pompoms.

on some of my mountain man stuff i'll use a simple antler button and leather loop or two buttons with leather lace/cord wrapped around figure 8 style. I like that strap closer.

Yeah I'd make some exotic looking stuff myself but I need to address as many people as I can and they may not possess all the weird stuff I can come up with :D

To my eye, I see a practical and well done bag!  With reasonable care it will be around to pass on to the next generation.  Very, very nice!!!
