Tooled outer, lambskin inner, white contrast stitching, lining is black dragon brocade. Ten card pockets, two cash/checkbook pockets. I'm kinda new to this whole wallet thing, but really starting to enjoy it. Thanks for looking.

That's a fine looking wallet Kevin, I like the tribal design you did, and the color. Keep up the good work, and thanks for sharing the pics.

That nice man, well done and clean looking. Is it my eyes or did you do a design on the lining ? A dragon maybe?

Wow,

When I get a look at some of the projects turned out by people who are "new" to leatherwork, I am astounded! Really nice, clean job!

I still sew by hand but I may get a machine one of these days.

Tell me- how did you sew the front? Did you continue the lining over the edges(from inside) and stitch? If so- how do you cut the black border SO CLOSE to the stitching????

Beautiful work by the way

pete,

I am currently working on another more elaborate wallet, i'll try to put together a mini tutorial on how i do this. I sew the binding along the outside edge of the piece, then wrap around to inside. I then sew the topstitch and trim excess from inside. I hope this makes sense, I'm not quite sure how to word it all. But like I said, I will try and put some pics together as i go on this one im doing now.

Thanks for the compliments also.
