SmilinJim Report post Posted October 2, 2007 I think I've gone a little far. Doin too much with leather. Last year I did some carvings and put them on some posts in the yard. Now I've got to do some more. Easy to do and 'different'. I used tea light candles, like in a pumpkin. Just remember if you do anything like this you will have an open flame and heat. shirleyz Report post Posted October 2, 2007 Hi Jim, Nice job! I made a couple last year for the school, I'll try and dig out the pics. Anyway, because it was in the school we weren't allowed real tea lites. I bought packs of three battery tea lites. They didn't last more than a few days but they were cheap anyway. No fear of burning leather though. I also made mine with a strip of velcro down the back so they could be opened out and packed flat for the next year.
