This has probably been asked before but wasn't sure how to search it. What do you use on a holster and belt that has been oiled not dyed? Don't want it to spot if it gets wet

I haven't done any holsters / belts in that fashion, but I have done other projects.  I normally don't put anything else on them and let them patina nicely with age / handling...kind of like a baseball glove.  I would be interested in hearing other's inputs.

i use fiebings golden mink oil water proofing on most of my holsters and sheaths after a small touch of NFO. It darkens the leather a bit however. Smear it on and use a hair dryer to soak it in then buff it. Haven't had a problem with spotting yet.

Worked in a prison for 30 years if I aint shiny every time I comment its no big deal, I just don't wave pompoms.

I just use NFO on them. I don't use any of the plastic finishes on any of my projects.

Hoka Hey! Today, tomorrow, next week, what does it matter?
