This is my first leather project, made a few months ago.
It took me a few weeks to finish it, because sometimes I put it aside for a few days. Before starting and while doing it, I was doing a lot of research, reading the forum non-stop XD, and watching videos.

It seems to me that there are some aspects that need to be improved like the stitching, but well, those are my first steps in leather, so not something to get too stressed out about.

Overall, i love it, mostly the tooling.

Very nice work!  Love the oak motif!  One of my favorites.  Also really dig the petal lifts you did as well.

Welcome to the forum too.

Yes, what has been said already - you've done a fine job on a complicated item

In some ways I can see this being useful to an artist. A holder for pens & pencils and a small sketch book

Beautiful piece! I really like the handmade look of it, the not so perfect stitching and all! Curious to see what tools (for tooling) you used for this project. I'd like to begin doing some of this myself, starting with a few tools. I'm just not sure which ones to get. Do you mind sharing, if you can remember which ones you used? I had seen your boots and belt project too, must comment on the fact that your skill level has really grown in a very short period of time.
