Personally,    If it were mine and not a customers,   the letters  would be red  

wet formed end caps using 7 oz veg tan.

  I figured out a little trick, use epoxy to make your mold and glue some leather on one side

you can punch holes in your cap into the leather of your mold and set rivets using the epoxy side

heck yea and that mold you made is pretty clever indeed

Very nice.   I need to add a HD logo to my next batch of acrylic stamps I am making.  Using that epoxy mold is an awesome idea.  Thanks for posting!

Don't look like it would be too hard to make if you got a board . . . pair of pliers . . . some super glue . . . and some # 9 horse fence wire.
