Members Schpacko Posted February 16, 2022 Members Report Posted February 16, 2022 Hey Guys It's been a few years since my last post! Question: What edger can you recommend for thin (1 mm / 2-3 oz) veg tan? Especially if you have curved edges. I am using the Barry King 00 Grooved Edger, which i generally like. But for curved, concave edges it's not that great. Cheers Schpacko Quote
Members bland Posted February 16, 2022 Members Report Posted February 16, 2022 (edited) Barry King sharp curve edger? Smallest size is 1 however. Works good on slot punched holes. I don't usually do anything too thin. Edited February 16, 2022 by bland add additional information Quote
Members mike02130 Posted February 16, 2022 Members Report Posted February 16, 2022 I'm not sure what you mean by curved, concave edges. I have a Barry King #00, a Palosanto #0 and a Ron's Montana #1. Although the numbers are all different, the size is all the same. Ron's works better on thinner leather than the Barry King. Quote

I think he means something like the cutouts on the card dividers in the wallet below. Quote

CFM tsunkasapa Posted February 18, 2022 CFM Report Posted February 18, 2022 ANY edger will do that radius. You don't need a special tool for that. Quote
