Don't know what other term to use for this I keep two windows open; 1 for Unread Posts and 1 for All Activity I have set Unread Posts for the last 4 weeks but it often only goes to 12 or 16 hours past. If I go and choose 4 weeks again only then will it show the older posts. This affects All Activity and restricts it to only the last day, until I choose 4 weeks on Unread again

I made a post about rebinding a Bible in Books, Journals and Photo Albums but it didn't show up when I clicked on New Posts(mobile). I was wondering if that section doesn't show up for new posts. It does show up if I click on Activity when I'm on my laptop.

I'm trying to figure out why my posts keep disappearing. I've asked a couple questions in the past week. First was trying to find out what style of carving was on a belt (I've resolved that on my own) and how to work with bridle leather. Specifically HO English bridle. Both posts disappeared within the day posted. Did I violate any rules here? I really doubt I did. It's been a little while since posting anything in Leatherworker.net only because I've been busy. And it's only a could months or so. I like this site, but if this continues to happen then I have zero reason to be here. I just want to know why?

Is there something preventing small search queries from running? I'm trying to search for the word "VFD", but it's coming back with no results. I tried adding a filter for "posts only by one particular member" but still no results. I'm also having trouble searching for "tig"

Is there a way I can prevent multiple successive posts from being merged into one? On this thread: https://leatherworker.net/forum/topic/131170-consew-225-loose-stitches-on-circle/#comment-780786 I replied to kgg Then I replied to wiz. (Separate messages for each) But when I clicked "save" on the second message, it said the items had been merged.

Is markdown or html or some other markup supported in these textarea boxes? I typically store my notes in markdown on my local machine, make edits there, and then copy/paste into the textarea to publish. Is there a way to have headers from my markdown file show up as Bold in the textarea, without needing to manually select with mouse? Any suggestions welcome.

Unread notifications show up under the bell icon in a different color, this is good! But as soon as I click one of those unread notifications, ALL of the unreads change to the color meaning "already read". It would be great if clicking a single notification only marked that item as read, instead of marking them all as read. Don't know how much of a lift that is on the backend..

Not sure if there's a setting somewhere that I have to click on. Right now, on the website, when I click on a thread title I've already read it goes straight to post #1. If it's possible I was wondering if when we click on a thread title if it could automatically go to the last post I read. Ex; if I go the the "Mineral oil bad for leather? Or good? Or neutral?" It puts me on post #1 but it has 300+ post so I have to go to the last page then scroll to the last thing I read. When using my phone If I click on the thread title it goes to post #1 but if I click on the bubble it takes me to the last post in the thread. Other websites automatically go the the last…
