might be you're using the wrong size. Some folks love the large ones like the Tandy size but there are many makers how make smaller ones like the Leather Wranglers "Mini Lui" and the Fields Hybrids that I find are easier to control.

Anyone know if you need a special tool to set conchos that have a rivet style back? I didn't realize this when I ordered them. They feel kinda cheap and bendable

the rivet backs are generally lighter than rivet back spots, just put a piece of 1/2 oz leather to keep it from scratching/denting and use a normal setter with a lighter hand & a few more taps.

The abused pit bull puppy I have dubbed "Emma." I've never had a dog before and I don't know if I have time, but she is a darling little thing.

Remember that abused dogs will take a lot of patience. They generally aren't going to be all cuddly at first while they size you up. Lots of reassurance, playtime and patience will go a long way to her recovery. If you put in the time now, you'll have a fiercely loyal friend for many years.

This round box I am maknig my daughter is kicking my butt! Still brain storming. Everytime I think I know what I want to do another idea pops in my head. It has to be atleast 16 1/2 x 6 1/2 with the handle on the top so you can carry it flat.

IP - Yeah, I've mentioned this to Ed. As LNL mentioned, shopping cart should be online later this month and Paypal will be an option so hopefully that will help some. From what I hear, Beary is buried in orders so it seems to be going OK.

Just got a request for a whaletail tank bib with dual 1911 Colt 45 holsters and two mag holders integrated into it...no so sure about that one.

Just wanted to say that my dad, 67 years old passed away Wednesday. Please keep my family in your prayers as this is one of the hardest things I think I have ever had happen to me. He was my best friend and very instrumental in getting me started in leatherwork. RIP DAD I love you.

Something that works for me is to pick the most fun, most challenging idea and strike at it first. You won't lose the burn-out by working on something tedious!

Strangely enough I am busier than I have ever been, it was very unexpected given the economy. Had to stop taking orders for 2011 and point folsk to the gift certificates for xmas presents.
