I went through this a few years ago. I finally sewed up a lot of scrap I had laying around and was amazed how quickly I learned how to sew. PRACTICE, PRACTICE AND MORE PRACTICE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Work with your machine, not against it. Best of Luck! KenThanks Ken
Yeah,,, I have been sewing a lot of scrap.
But I'm really looking for some info that will help me sew a lot of good stuff
Actually the machine is doing great and doing what it is supposed to do. But I'm looking for info on 'how to do technique' with this wonderful machine. As I stated above. Books and DVDs with lessons.

Hello Dink.
The machine I have is a Cobra class 4. I bought it from The Leather Machine Co. in Southern Ca.
I can work the machine in a straight line or curves, but I need some tips/info on techniques. How to use the different attachments, etc...
Thanks

Hi everybody.
I am new to this forum.
I have done leather work off and on for quite a few years but have never (until Now) taken a serious interest.
A few weeks ago I went off the deep end and bought a leather sewing machine, and now I need to learn how to use it. I have been looking all over the web, but I have had no luck so far.
So if anyone has any idea where I can find instructional books or DVDs on the machine sewing methods I would appreciate your input.
BTW, this is a great site!
Thanks
Joel

I followed your BearMan link, but couldn't find the mauls pictured above, or a way to purchase the mauls you sell.
Perhaps someone will direct me to the BearMan store, I would like to see the price of these marvelous mauls and perhaps purchase one or two.
Thanks
